But in blogger there is a limitation that how you create custom links for some pages or posts. But I will show you the best and easy way to create that link.

If you are blogger and owns a website, then you may definitely know the importance of having custom link. Let's take a look at the example: yourdomain.com/links or yourdomain.com/2021/03/links

Before creating these custom links in blogger, there are some conditions that we need to keep in our mind. Initially blogger only allow us to create custom URL for the page in different way. Let's understand how.
If you want to create a custom URL for the page, there will be /p/ in the URL. If you create a post, then there will be date in the URL. And blogger doesn't allow us to remove that. But you can do this in the different way without changing the original URL of the post. Yeah! You read right. We can do this by using custom redirect. If you look for a page on your blogger website which doesn't exist in the website then you will see 404 not found or post bout found. To avoid this we need to solve this by redirecting 404 not found page to the another page/post which exist on the blogger website.
So when we create the custom URL for a page/post we do not actually change the URL of the page, we just redirect a custom URL to the desired page/post.
Advantages of using custom URL
If the link for a desired page looks like the first URL in the example above. Then it's impact is much positive in the mindset of your visitors. It looks very good.
Create custom link/URL :
- At the first, you need to select a page/post, copy the URL if that page/post.
- Go to settings, select custom redirect type the path/url of that page that you want to set custom url just after from /, but keep in mind that you just need to type the path. For example : If a page has the link as yourdomain.com/p/links then you just need to type the everything that comes after the domain name like /p/links
- Now the next step is, your the desired path/URL just after to/, just like above you just have to type the path and not the whole URL For example if you want to set custom URL as mydomain. com/links, then just type the path like links.
- Now enable the option of permanent. This will keep the desired URL for permanent.
- And click save. You are all set. Your custom URL is set now you can share the URL of that page to everywhere.
